أهرامات مروي

أهرامات مروي:
مروي، مرواه (Meroe) أو “بجراوية” هو الاسم القديم للمدينة التي تحوي الأهرامات النوبية في محافظة شندي في ولاية نهر النيل السودانية تبعد حوالي 200 كم عن الخرطوم وكانت عاصمة المملكة الكوشية وتحوي أهرامات النوبة. الأهرامات التي أقامها الحكام الكوشيون في (السودان) عام 300 ق.م. واشتهرت النوبة بكثرة بناء الهرامات حيث كان النوبيون يعتقدون أن ملوكهم آلهة أحياء ولما يموتون هم وملكاتهم لابد من دفنهم في مدافن عظيمة. وكان أكبر البنايات الأهرامات كملوك قدماء المصريين. لهذا يوجد بها أهرامات عديدة أكثر مما موجود حاليا بمصر.وأكبر الأهرامات النوبية مرواه ونوري والكوري بالسودان



Pyramids of Meroe:
Meroe, Merghua is the ancient name of the city that contains the Nubian pyramids in Shendi province in the state of the Sudanese River Nile, about 200 km from Khartoum. It was the capital of the Kushite Kingdom and contains the Nubian pyramids. Pyramids established by the Kushite rulers in (Sudan) in 300 BC. Nubia was widely known for building pyramids where Nubians believed that their kings were living gods and that they and their kingdoms were to be buried in great tombs. The biggest buildings pyramids as kings of the ancient Egyptians. This is why there are more pyramids than there are currently in Egypt. The largest Nubian pyramids are Marwa, Nuri and Kory in Sudan
