شمال دارفور

شمال كردفان، هي إحدى ولايات السودان الثمانية عشر. مساحتها 185.302 كم² وعدد سكانها 2.920.890 (تعداد 2008)، و3.340.000 (تعداد 2011). عاصمة الولاية مدينة الأبيض. وهي من المناطق القاحلة والصحراوية.

جنوب كردفان هي ولاية سودانية تحد الولاية من الشمال ولاية شمال كردفانوولاية الوحدة، من جهة الجنوب ولاية أعالي النيل ومن الشمال الشرقي ولاية النيل الأبيض.

المساحة: 79470 كلم مربع.

السكان: 1066117 نسمة.

أهم المحاصيل: القطن، الكركديه، السمسم والدخن.

تعداد الثروة الحيوانية:17025000 رأس إبل / ضأن / ابقار.

بالولاية 657 مدرسة أساس و62 مدرسة ثانوية.

أهم المدن:أبو كرشولا رشاد، الدلنج، أبو جبيهة، تلودي وكادقلي حاضرة الولاية. و توجد أيضا جبال ومرتفعات مثل مرتفعات النوبة
